BIOGRAPHY
Born in 1970, she graduated from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University and worked in the pharmaceutical industry for nearly 28 years. Later, driven by her passion for photography, she earned a second degree from the Open Education Faculty's Photography and Camerawork Program. After retiring in 2019, she began devoting herself intensively to photography.
During this journey, she gravitated toward street photography, the genre that made her feel most excited and free. The ever-changing and unpredictable nature of the streets, the spontaneous movements of people, and the challenge of capturing fleeting moments that appear and disappear within seconds continue to fuel her enthusiasm for photography and deepen her passion for the medium.
The moments she pursues with her camera have become a playground for discovery. In this sense, street photography has evolved into a journey through which she experiences freedom, nurtures her curiosity, finds joy, and connects with life on a deeper level. For her, street photography is more than a genre; it is a way of exploring the world, embracing uncertainty, and feeling fully alive.
